Data Train Program presented by U Bremen Research Alliance

Getting started with data skills
The Data Train program focuses on teaching various competencies in research data management and data science and consists of different “tracks“. The program starts with an overview lecture series – the Starter Track – from January to May on different disciplines to improve your data skills. It begins each January with an official Kick-off and Get-together event.
The Kick- off event and the Starter Track program is open to anyone interested in getting started in research data management and data science. It can be attended in person or via Zoom online (hybrid). You can complete the entire track or attend specific courses of your choice. At the end of the track, you will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Advance your data expertise
From June to December, the two operator tracks, the Data Steward and the Data Scientist, alternate, consisting of hands-on workshops using diverse computational analysis methods to apply and deepen your data skills. These workshops are primarily offered to doctoral researchers of the members of the U Bremen Research Alliance.
If places are available, post-doctoral researchers and advanced students are welcome to register for different courses.
We also offer Data Stories, which are invited talks from industry and academia.
